There have been a few new products added for the Project Aura builds. We are now offering a special cable to connect the PCB to the 7 inch Waveshare display. The wiring configuration for 7 inch models being built starting with firmware version 1.2.0 require a change. The cable that comes with the Waveshare display will work but will require reprinting several parts. Our new cable does not require any additional printed parts and eliminates the use of the Dupont connectors and the need to bend pins for better contact on the connectors and pin headers. Our cable has JST connectors on both ends and are plug and play with both the display and PCB. We are also offering a similar cable for the 4.3″ display with JST connectors on both ends as well as cables to connect the DFRobot sensors and DAC to the PCB. If you can’t tell we are not fans of the cables that are included with the displays and DFRobot components.
